Poleke does not understand why his father had to travel to Nepal to find himself. She feels that she does not need to go so far to know herself and know what she wants to be in life: a poet. However, in this installment of the series, Poleke will discover that there are situations that surpass the human will and that sometimes we must let ourselves be carried by the wind to find forgiveness and accept the loss.

The fourth book in a series about Poleke, a sensitive girl who reads and writes poetry. The books are a series of small stories about daily living, following Poleke from age 10 to 12. Through her journey through adolescence Poleke deals with typical pre-teen girl issues along with more challenging, contemporary problems. All are treated openly with kindness and sensitivity, making Poleke a highly relatable character. The series was originally written in Dutch by Guus Kuijer, who was the 2012 recipient of the Astrid Lindgren award.
